Red/Black Midrange is a variation of the Red/Black aggro decks that have been crushing the pro-tournament scene lately. It is not as aggressive as the aggro decks and can win in the middle to late game. You get a lot of nice removal and some big finishers like Karn, Scion of Urza and Glorybringer. This deck is not affected by Goblin Chainwirler, because it does not run a lot of one toughness creatures. It can also win in the early game if your opponent does not apply early pressure. One card that is very good is Cut//Ribbons which allows you to get rid of early threats and help you win in the late game. Game one against control decks may not be the best, but if you have a good sideboard, you can win those easily later. As we get closer to the Magic: World championship, you will see players trying to chose decks with game against all decks and this deck is a good choice.
