Andrew Cuneo and Alex Hon win GP Richmond Legacy and Standard!

With Back to Basics the the card of GP Richmond Legacy, Andrew Cuneo dominated the tournament with Miracles and beating Lands in the finals. Cuneo has been top 8-ing GP's a lot recently, so it was nice to see him with the win.

Alex Hon came off as the GP Richmond Standard champion by beating former player of the year (17) Mike Sigrist. He used R/B Aggro and Mike used Blue/Black Midrange. he also beat (1) Seth Manfield in the semi-finals, giving Seth 3 Pro-Points for the weekend. A great accomplishment for the world-ranked player.

(2) Reid Duke did not only commentate in GP Richmond, but he played in the Legacy GP. He is was in 2nd place in the Player of the Year Race and wanted to get extra pro points by getting a X-3 record or higher. He was down to the wire and his potential top 8 birth came at round 15. He won game 1, but lost a very long game 2 and had only 3 minutes to play a game 3. The match ended in a draw and (2) Reid Duke ended at X-3-1, not good for the player of the year race, but good enough to see his teammate and friend Andrew Cuneo take the tournament down. Reid is now tied for seconed place with Luis Salvatto and is a bit behind (1) Seth Manfield.

Good Games!
