Top 5 Matches of the Pro Tour 2017-2018 Season!
It's Pro Tour Ixalan, and it's Hall of Famer against Hall of Famer, Gabriel Nassif v. Paulo Vitor Damo Da Rosa. PVDDR is piloting a great energy deck from Channel Fireball, while Nassif has a newer deck that he has to work through. This match shows you the tough decisions Nassif had to go through to try to win.
In Round 15 of Pro Tour Ixalan, Pascal Maynard and Owen Turtenwald found themselves facing off for Top 8. This match shows how great of a player Owen Turtenwald is and how he made Pascal think he had certain cards by the way he played. This is a great match to learn to become a better player, and is a great match just to enjoy on your own.
It is the early stages of Pro Tour Rivals of Ixalan and we see Matt Nass and Reid Duke facing off to try and 3-0 their draft pod. Matt has an amazing Red/Black deck, and Reid has a Solid Merfolk deck. This match shows how complicated the board states were and the thought process of both of these great players.
It's a win-and-in for Top 8, and it will be Takimura or Jones. Takimura already a Pro Tour champion, shines in this match by showing masterful play, and navigating around Kivin Jones's Scarab God. The commentators do a great job in highlighting this and it will help you improve as a player and give you enjoyment.
This match is between two amazing teams, Sajgalik, Huang, Yam and Wilson, Rizzi, Shenhar. Jacob Wilson's team looked to be in the lead but, when Sajgalik, Huang, and Yam made a big comeback, it looked like it could be anyone's game.
We hoped you enjoyed our seletion of the best matches from this season!
