Thoughts on the Ban and Restricted Announcement For 4/16/18

Today we had another Ban and Restricted announcement. The result of this was no change to any format. Right now, Standard is very healthy. What this means is that there are a more diverse selection of top tier decks, and that there is more room for brewing. This is great for MTG. The same is true for Modern. Last time Jace, the Mindsculpter and Bloodbraid Elf got unbanned. At firse people thought this would have a bad effect on Modern, but as we saw at GP Hartford the Top 8 had NO Jace or Bloodbraid decks. Modern and Standard are wide open right now and we are excited to what's next with the addition of Dominaria!
